Statement from Eddie’s Pharmacy Regarding Personal Health Information Disclosure

On the night of Saturday May 30, 2020, rioting occurred in the neighborhood where our pharmacy is located. During this event, our pharmacy was broken into and burglarized. At that time several prescription items were removed, and paper records including non-financial personal health information may have been improperly viewed but not retained or removed from our building. Customers affected by the illegal removal of prescriptions have been directly contacted, and we are working with the Los Angeles Police Department to report this incident. If you have any questions about this incident, please do not hesitate to contact our pharmacy by phone at (310) 358-2400, and ask to speak to the Pharmacist in Charge, Frank Shahri. At Eddie’s Pharmacy safeguarding customer information is always one of our highest priorities, and we remain committed to serving our valued customers with security and satisfaction.

We would like to thank the community and our outstanding team members for their ongoing support throughout this time. Eddie's Pharmacy remains open during the rebuilding and is steadfast in the belief that we are stronger together.

Thank you,
Eddie's Pharmacy
